There used to be a small patch of garden in the basement car park of my condominium. When the sun peaks out after early afternoon monsoon showers, I would see a few snails out in the open, their large brown shells glistening. Some of them stray away from the garden and unfortunately get crushed under the wheels of cars entering and leaving the car park. Whenever I had a chance, I pushed those strayed souls back into the garden with a gentle tap of my toe. One of them turned out to be stubborn, determined to leave the confines of the garden, so I decided to take it home for a photo session!
Ultimately I spent a lot of time with it, first trying to tempt it to come out of the shell, trying to get it to pose properly and then trying hard to get a good, satisfactory picture.
